Feng shui home: enticing good affluence

A feng shui home is often associated as acupuncture for one’s house. It is a practice of manipulating good energies to come inside the home and to improve one’s way of living. The feng shui home is where all the rooms and areas of the house are considered in determining the energies that could or could not flow into through. The arrangement of objects, plants, lights and colors are also significant in a feng shui home.

The arrangements and positioning of the objects in a feng shui home varies on the time spent of a person in a certain area of the house. The bedroom must create a space where a person could relax and stimulate good aura. Because the bedroom is the area where a person starts and ends his/her day, it is important to retain balance of energies in it and to make it placid any time.

The feng shui home also gives importance to the main door. In Chinese traditions, the main door is called the “Chi” gate and it is often regarded as the mouth of the feng shui home. The main door of the house should be positioned where the chi could flow freely and good fortunes would easily come inside the feng shui home.

The side entrance of the feng shui home does not necessarily alter the house’s orientation. There are those who wanted to enter their house using the side door for convenience. And if this side of the feng shui home is used often than the main door, then the energies on this area will affect the occupant. It is therefore advised to the home owner to find a convenient place for the side door and good energies must flow into it.

In a feng shui home, the hallways must also be given attention. These parts of the house serve as the arteries of the whole structure. A preferred feng shui home has hallways which are bright in color, not messy and are not narrow. If in case a dark hallway cannot be helped, then the home owner must place either a skylight or an artificial light in it. A good feng shui home should also avoid long hallways. Not unless the owner would place rooms which are off these hallways and the doors of these rooms maybe left opened.

There are also certain parts of the feng shui home where a need for energy stimulation is met. Take for example; any window in the house should be opened appropriately. These windows should allow enough light or even good views to any area of the house. The ceilings of the house should be flat and ideally must not have slopes in it. These slopes are said to be the cause of chaotic movements of the air currents leading to sleeping problems of the occupants.

The feng shui home is practiced in many houses to create balance and good nature in the entire structure as well as in its occupants. The aim of the feng shui home is simply to attract good fortunes and to obtain comfort in any parts of the house.
